The Blake Hotel New Orleans is located on the corner of St. Charles Avenue and Poydras where all of the New Orleans Mardi Gras parades pass. Our property has a huge balcony on the second floor that has a great view of every parade. We also will have viewing stands in front of the hotel to be on the street and up close to all the action. We would love to have you, your friends, and your family celebrating Mardi Gras 2023 with us!

The Blake Hotel New Orleans is selling Mardi Gras balcony passes for the dates of February 10,11,12,15,16,17th for balcony access only (food and beverages not included).  Balcony tickets are per person per day plus tax and fees and you will have in and out access to the balcony and our indoor restrooms. Guests are allowed on the balcony at the parade start time and the balcony will close after the last float passes.No chairs are permitted on the balcony. Seating is available inside our meeting room.  Numerous food and beverage options are available in the immediate area. Food and beverages can be brought into the viewing stands and balcony but NO ice chests or other large containers are allowed. 

The Blake Hotel New Orleans is also offering balcony passes to the public for Saturday (February 18) for Krewe of Iris and Tucks, all-day Bacchus Sunday (February 19), or Mardi Gras Day Tuesday (February 21), per person per ticket plus tax and fees.  The balcony tickets for  Iris and Tucks Saturday (lunch), all-day Bacchus Sunday (lunch and dinner), or Mardi Gras Day (breakfast and lunch) will include an open premium bar and catered food, and indoor restrooms! 

Food will be served for balcony access on Saturday, February 18th, or Sunday, February 19th, and  Tuesday, February 21st.

Mardi Gras Day Tuesday, Breakfast 9:30am- 11:30am; Lunch 12:30pm-2:30pm

The Blake Hotel New Orleans is also selling Mardi Gras Viewing Stand Tickets to the public to watch all the parades and marching bands from in front of the hotel.  Viewing Stands include admission to the stands.  Public exterior restrooms on Lafayette Square. Viewing stand tickets do not allow access to the hotel or the lobby restrooms. Only hotel guests with guest rooms at the Blake Hotel will have access inside the hotel. 

Guests are allowed on the balcony and viewing stands at the parade start time and the balcony and viewing stand will close after the last float passes. All seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, general admittance-there are no reserved seats and no seating is allowed on the balcony. Both the viewing stands and balcony are wheelchair accessible but no seats are reserved. 

Tickets purchased are NONREFUNDABLE (rain or shine) and required for access to the viewing stands or balcony, regardless of age. If Mardi Gras 203 parades are canceled due to government restrictions then any tickets purchased will be forwarded to the next year. 

Wristbands will be distributed in the Blake Hotel lobby 30 minutes before the balcony opens at the door on the day of the event. Please bring copy tickets to the event (paper or mobile).

Nonrefundable (Rain or Shine), Barcode ticket required for entrance (paper or mobile). Please check-in at the Mardi Gras table in the Blake Hotel lobby, 500 St. Charles Avenue.  Check-in will begin at the first parade start time.
